Our team combines interior design vision with expert project management to guide homeowners from concept to completion — with clarity, confidence, and care.

Jean Alerte is an award winning residential renovation expert, entrepreneur, and the host of The Assignment, a home renovation series that launched in March 2025. With a dynamic background in real estate, design, and business development, he is the founder of ACA Designs & Build LLC, a Brooklyn-based firm specializing in custom residential renovations. A bestselling author and former mortgage bank VP by age 24, Jean has been featured on NBC, FOX, ABC, and Black Enterprise for his leadership and vision.
He is also the creator of Faith Grind Inspire, an entrepreneurial education initiative that has reached over 7,900 inner-city students nationwide and awarded over $45,000 in scholarships. Passionate about empowering others, Jean continues to lead by example as a mentor, family man, and community advocate.
With nearly two decades of experience and accomplishments in the architectural field namely in developments, corporate, commercial and residential projects, Vladimir’s approach to building design is based on results and excellence.
Vladimir gained a wealth of experience working closely for both public and private sector clients on such high profile projects as the redevelopment of the International Terminal at JFK Airport, the Gateway Terminal at Newark International Airport, Dekalb Avenue Community Cluster in Clinton Hills Brooklyn, Mount Morris Park Redevelopment in Harlem, and number of exclusive high end residential developments and high end retails.
A key strategic and tactical contributor in efforts that yielded successful completion of small scale projects to large scale projects, Vladimir brings valuable insight and knowledge regarding the leadership and management challenges faced by, private customers, entrepreneurs, growing companies, corporations and even governments. Vladimir thrives as a hands-on professional who won’t shy away from on-site challenges. His abilities and thoroughness made him an asset to clients and partners. He understands all facets of real estate development.
Vladimir graduated from Pratt Institute cum laude with a Bachelor of Architecture, and maintains an active presence with the school.
